i thought that these pop tab bracelets were awesome: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=16894.0
so then i thought, hey, why not make a watch...

i just bought a timex watch at target, cut the band off and made a new band out of pop tabs... i used black elastic so it could just be slipped off and on... i gave it to my friend as a christmas present and she loved it! Smiley

From the book Godless:

Just Al: I know that God is real. I feel his presence in my heart
Me: What does it feel like?
Just Al: It's hard to describe Jason. It feels good.
Me: Oh. I thought maybe it was like heartburn or something.

How cute!  That looks really easy, but at the same time, really professional.  Question:  Is the yellow part of the band or just part of a stand?  If it's not part of the watch, I must say, it looks just as good as a cuff-style as it does plain.

I love it.
Question -- are there sharp or scratchy parts against the wrist? Did you file those edges down or something?

wow! thanks for all the positive feedback! yay!  Smiley...
the yellow is actually just a little piece of foam or such that came with the original watch as a stand or something...
yes, it is black elastic and no there aren't really any sharp edges, the only 'edges' really were from the tied off elastic (which is on the underside) and you barely feel them...so I don't think they are a problem!
Thanks!
