I was thinking of knitting Thermal up in Rowanspun 4 ply and was wondering if anyone has had experiences with using it for close fitting sweaters? In particular, whether you found it itchy/scratchy at all?

I am knitting up a top in it right now and it doesn't seem to be very itchy at all.  It's definitely softer than some of the other rowan tweeds (like yorkshire tweed or harris tweed).  Hope that helps.  It's really great yarn!

I don't find it itchy either.  It's isn't kitten-soft itself, but it doesn't have the prickly fibers that stick out and make you itch.  I do find the 4 Ply to be very thin, though
