Awhile ago I made a bunch of double fleece blankets for my friends.  Some of them I embroidered and some of them I did felt appliqué.

An embroidered elephant on pink so...a pink elephant

A multi layered frog using the blanket stitch

Leaves using the blanket stitch (I also made that sweet corner shelf in the image background)

Unfortunately I totally didn't get a picture of my favorite one...it had 12 little sheep all over it...I did machine appliqué on that one...I'll have to ask the gift recipient to send me a pic.

The industrial economy is a growth economy- never enough and never satisfied-
whereas the craft economy is a dancing economy- always active and always joyful.

I can't believe more people haven't commented!  The elephant is absolutely adorable and done really well.  It almost looks like you drew it.  The multiple layers on the frog give it such a cool effect and it really pops.  Last but not least, the blanket is pretty Smiley.

Keep posting more of your work!
