these are the shapes that make up the animal- adapted from a pattern I made for a deer.  I haven't tested this to scale, but it's a good starting point.

The piece for the underside of the animal is shown by the dotted line.  Place the fold of the fabric on the dotted line and cut out the leg shape.  the long, tapered triangle is sewn to the top, beginning with the trunk and back to the butt.  Hope this helps if the pattern doesn't show up.
