So I made my romantic interest this scarf today:

...largely because he's moaned and groaned about the fact that I've made scarves for everyone but him.

Here's a detail of the embroidery:

I used a lot of chain stitches (because I'm a little bit evil and like the thought of his heart in chains) which sometimes turn into whip stitches (that's a fun/evil thought too) and a wee bit of crude satin stitching (hate satin stitching.)

He lurves it.

That's great. I love your reasoning for the chain stitch!

I love the scarf Shocked.  It's hard (for me, anyway) to put a scarf and embroidery together in a "manly" fashion but you succeeded!  The arrow looks surprisingly real and the detail on the heart is fabulous.  Great job, he'll love it.

Coming up with crafty things to make for men is indeed a challenge, but one which I enjoy.  And yes, he loves it.  He was showing it off to his boss last night Smiley

I love Lotteria themed items. Great job with the chainstitching, especially on that fabric!

How smart are you?  Awesome scarf, great gift for the love interest, and a little bit of voodoo-through-embroidery.

I have so much to learn from you.
