this one is my favorite...red and silver wire with a turquoise stone

the brillo wrap...copper wire

colorful...i used some fun wire or something or other...its this really soft nylon coated wire...it was easy on the hands but i didnt care for it ALL that much.

thank you! they are more like weaving with wire...its rough on your hands but soooo rewarding...and pretty quick moving too. just dont make the same mistake i did and get GOOD tools like pliers and things...they help so much. i got so pissed at first cos i was using crappy tools then i got good ones and it was so much easier!

They're very cool!
Were they hard to make?
I've never done anything like them.

thank you for the compliments!

um hard to make...i guess yes and no. some of the wire wrap techniques are more time consuming than anything else. i just sat down one day and said "im going to do some wire wraps" and just started wrapping. i looked at wraps that had things i really liked in them, like the triple coils and the ladders and just tried to figure out how to do them...alot of trial and error more than anything. but wire is very sharp and will stab the hell out of you. i got it under the fingernail a few times and bled all over the place.
