Here is one of two pieces that I created the other evening. It is composed of new canvas that cost me roughly 35 cents, 'Pentel FabricFun pastel dyes sticks' that look to be from the 70's that I found  in a giveaway box years ago, old wax that I had collected from burnt candles, and scrap thread from my sewing projects that I dug out of my little craft trash can. Sorry for the giant pictures, it's a real pain in the but to resize.

Here's the second one...my favorite of the two.

And here are the pair side by side.

Thanks for looking!

Thank you! I love what my hands can create...It's really like they do it of their own volition Wink

Smiley I love recycling/reusing/reconstructing...Roughly 95% of my work, including my clothing and accessories are made from recycled materials.

These paintings are actually quite small...lol you wouldn't think so by the looks of their photos. The size of each canvas is 5x7.

Thanks again for looking and leaving such wonderful comments

I first thought they were huge. But then I saw those clips on the pics a realized they couldn't be very big. You should try bigger canvasses if you can, your painting is so striking, it would be very impressive.
