Hi everyone! I finally finished with my wing of the moth shawl Cheesy
The yarn is handspun singles, spun by me from batts in the Arizona Sycamore colorway from Spritely Goods as well as fibers handblended at the wheel (resulting in the more stripy colors at the edge of the shawl.

I did run out of yarn during the process of the knit and had to spin more - luckily I have plenty of fiber on hand Smiley

Needles used were US6 and after a rather aggressive blocking, the shawl is very big, at 7 feet 8 inches for a wingspan and it's about 46" from the top edge to the bottom tip.

I am in awe. Hanspinning is pretty labor intensive, but the work is beautiful.

I was going to write "Wow - that's beautiful!" but WIPs beat me to it!  It is a stunning shawl and fabulous yean.  The colour is perfect.
