I just made my first handmade rubber stamp and I'm so excited about this craft. Would anyone be interested in a swap? It's nice, because mailing would be inexpensive-we wouldn't have to attach wooden blocks unless we wanted to.

I, for one, would be all over this. I've started, not yet finished, a couple of my very own rubber stamps and this type of swap would be great! Count me in!

Is there any interest in this? I was thinking of swapping 3-5 stamps. They could be made from rubber stamp material or erasers. Each person could list up to five images/words/sayings they would like to have.

Check out the letterboxing thread, there might be people interested in stamps there.

I went on that site and looked and it seems like there are TONS of those near me. I may have to give that a try. There was even one at MY WORKPLACE but it has apparently gone missing. Balkandina, I hope we get more interest in this but if we don't how few can we run with a swap? Hehe, just you and me?

I'm going to put this in my signature and see if I can get some more interest. I know this time of year is busy for crafting, but this really wouldn't be expensive.

I've carved linoleum and erasers and "artist's blocks", but I've never done a rubber stamp. Do you carve that, too, or is there a different process?
