malnourished midget? is that someone under 5'3 becuase i fit that bill  Grin and heck, i cna alter patterns like none's business because i'm an overfed midget ;-)

hehe. i'm 5'3'' and a bit. which means i'm now an expert at taking up hems. who the hell wears a 35" leg, anyway?

i used a men's jeans pattern from burda for the front and back leg pieces. it's easy to find, cause it's the only one they do. but the smallest waist size is 30,the waist is too high for me and the crotch is cut boyishly, so i had to do a lot of lowering, and adjusting and taking in before they looked right. the back pockets are from the same pattern. the front ones i just invented, using a pocket lining from another pattern to get the shape. waistband is just a rectangle, belt loops the same.

that should get you started Wink

sorry i can't do a tutorial, but it'd just be silly. it took me all day to make these, and i'm a pretty quick worker (for reference, it takes me about 20 minutes to make a jordy bag) so you can imagine the length and complexity of a tut.  Shocked
