I love the little bee!  I had a bee steal a bit of ham from a sandwich I had once-they could be cocktail drinkers, too.

The bodice page is fantastic.  It's very dramatic without being overly busy.

Babs, that's awesome as ever! I love those bees! Who would have thought they were cocktail drinkers? Cheesy
This was purely accidental and I just realized it. He's getting his 'buzz' on  Grin

I love that bee with the umbrella drink!! Thanks for not making me wait babs. How did you get that honeycomb effect?
That was easy! I printed it out!  Grin

Crafty_Dame I love your page, how wonderful and I really love that embossed chandelier. I've got some embossing powders but I never use mine either. I so need to change that now.

How cute is that!

Crafty_dame, that page is great.  I love the laces!  Smiley  And the colors!

What Babs didn't tell you all is that there's a hole in the middle of the page she made for me -- so the bee on the front is actually looking through into the inside of the hive!  It's so awesome!!  I love the page so much.  Smiley

Babs, you are as fabulous at bees as you are with birds. I LOVE the little cocktail drinker on the back, and the quote.

Crafty_dame, that page is wonderful. Everything on it is just perfect, creating such an atmosphere I feel like I could just walk into it. I have never played with embossing powder either ... maybe we should have an embossing party!

I love the buzzed bees, babbs! Could I fit any more b's into that sentence? Haha.

And the embossed chandelier is awesome! I want a tiny chandelier stamp, my jimmy-rigged one is ginormous and not very practical.

Hehe, I started off with a much smaller hole and it just kept getting bigger and bigger. I had to keep trying out the bee in the hole so he could easily "bee" seen from the other side and still have the hole make sense.  Roll Eyes

thanks you guys! i've had the embossing powder for a while too, i just couldn't bring myself to buy the heat gun... especially after reading so many bad reviews on the joanns website! my sister finally decided she was willing to share custody of her heat gun, which is from home depot, and much sturdier than the "craft" ones... (they're sold for paint removal - my sis used to have her own painting company) i should go buy my own, since they're about the same price as the ones on the joanns website, but i'm content "borrowing" hers right now!

banga, i went and checked the chandelier stamp, it's from www.impressrubberstamps.com, though i bought it at a fabulous store in portland!

Here's my cute Day of the Dead page from LisaTeacher. The skull is made of tissue paper and is outlined with some clear dimensional paint (Glossy accents, maybe?) The skull is so delicate and I love that flower stamp along the edge!
