I have received a fantastic page from Banga!  I love the colors on this, and that image is so familiar to me, but I don't have a clue why.  Maybe it kinda reminds me of the illustrations in an old joke book that my sister had?



there are all of these swirls and scrolls done in clear embossing (I think) and beautiful lettering on the wings.  This is another one of those pages I wish I could pass around for everyone to see and feel.

That Jester is very cool, although he veers a little close to clown territory for me.  I have serious clown fear....

This is the Fantabuwondermous page I got from Babbetto.  Not one, not two, but a grand total of five Big Eyed Birds!  And to top it off, a super-cute worm!!!

Queen of Fools, I'm glad your birdies arrived and that you are happy with them. Did you notice that the birdies wings fold up? They aren't glued down at all and if you bend them up a bit they become 3-D.

I'm finally posting here because a) I'm such a fan of this gallery! and b) I'm the source of the minstrel/jester guy (I just sent him to Banga; I'm so glad he found such an immediate and awesome use)! It is so rewarding (maybe even vindicating) to see something I unearthed/rescued and released out into the world turned into something beautiful and then sent further out into the world for others' enjoyment...I'm the only person in my household who sees "ephemera"; the others just see "junk".  

Anyway, the jester was actually a 50s or 60s Christmas card, of all things, and I bought it at a junk-store in Bakersfield, CA, last year.
