Oh yeah, that's right, it is!  Wink

In my defense, in this case anyway, its really tiny text and its a language I don't read...French, Spanish or Latin probably...

aroze, you are always putting things on upside down! It thought that was your signature move.  Cheesy

I'm so behind on commenting and posting the beautiful pages that I received. Life got a little bit crazy on me the last week(s).

Babbetto posted the page already, but I'll post it again anyway  (since I promised I'd do Wink)
Front

Back

Thank you, I love the bird and I like the American feeling of it, since we don't play any baseball around here. Well, sometimes, but it's very rare. But now I have my own ballgame, so score! Wink

The second page is from Reen Reen
Front

Back

Looking at the happy grinning man makes me happy, so thank you. It's a lovely page and the back is interesting and different - I love it.

And the last page I received is from Rackycoo
Front

Back

Those birds are lovely, the backside reminds me of an old children song about the bird that lands on the foot of a child carring a letter. I haven't thought of that song in a long time, so thank you for reminding me. I used to sing it as a child all the time (and driving my parents crazy with it Grin)

Thank you girls, my new pages are amazing!

I adore that bird one Racky! I love the little stamp you've used on the tickets!

I like that little chickadee, too. I'm just glad that page finally got to minanina. It's been in the system for quite a while!

I still love that baseball page and the big eyed bird.  The tree-girl on the back of ReenReen's page is great.  I still love racky's crowned birds.  Did you carve the bird stamp used on the tickets?

It's a cute song and short enough for children to memorize it.
I try to translate it and put the German words in brackets.
"A bird comes flying (Kommt ein Vogel geflogen)
and sits down on my foot ( und setzt sich nieder auf meinen Fu)
carring a letter in its beak, (hat einen Zettel im Schnabel)
a greeting from my mother  (von der Mutter einen Gru)
Dear bird fly farther, (Lieber Vogel fliege weiter)
take along a greeting and a kiss (nimm einen Gru mit und einen Kuss)
I can't accompany you (denn ich kann dich nicht begleiten)
I have to stay here.  (weil ich hier bleiben muss)"

It sounds a little weird in English, I found a small video on youtube that gives you a small idea how its supposed to sound (here

And I've never tried to listend to it backwards and look for hidden messages, but I should try this one day, might be interesting Wink

I didn't carve the little bird, but I did carve the much simpler heart stamp on the back.  Cheesy
