Thanks, all! I love doodling, and you will be seeing more of it I am sure. I was really stuck for CraftyDame because I know she generally goes for darker colors and I don't do dark colors well. For some reason she/you struck me as a funky shoe person (glad I got that right), I loved that quote, and a friend gave me an entire year's worth of her shoe box calendar from last year (so if anyone wants some shoes to use in their art, let me know). Now I can breathe a sigh of release that you like it!

... but i REALLY love the stamps you used.... is the women's rights movement one a new stamp? i haven't seen it before, and i want more of them!!

Oh, and as for the stamps, they are old. My Ex used to collect stamps, and the US Postal Service did a Decades commemorative collection for the new Millenium. After we moved this past year, I found the 10 sheets with all of these super cool stamps and since they hadn't been used they were still good. I reserved them for these swaps because I figured only fellow collage/atc types would appreciate them!

Those shoes! AAH! As a huge shoe freak I LOVE them CD. The doodling is lovely, and it makes the shoes just pop off of the page.

so sad! i DEFINITELY appreciate them though!

i realized that the page i made reenreen never got posted, so i thought i would.
she said it reminds her of coffee, which is funny, because i used coffee to dye the fabric on the front! the word "numbers" was embroidered onto the fabric after i'd stamped all over it with my calendar stamp and number stamps. the little frames are filled with glossy accents to look like resin (i learned that from tim holtz! he's so damn cool!)

if anyone has seen alphabet stamps in the same style font as the number stamps, PLEASE tell me! i love these stamps so much, but i don't have much of an excuse to use them!

That shoe page is too cute, and Crafty_Dame's old fashioned numbers (and little frames) are very cool.

I received my beautiful page from TheBon.

I love the dimensional clock arms, Fleur de Lis, and little heart flourish on the back as well as the very sweet paper she used.  Thank you!!
