Heh, I put cranes there and then changed my mind. I knew that whatever direction I went it would be the opposite.  Roll Eyes
I've always wanted to try my hand at origami but I'm thinking this would be the closest I'll get.

They do actually look more like swans...

I have never been a very good paper folder (or cutter for that matter)- something I chalk up to being left handed  Wink.  I really want to learn the cranes, though, because I wanted to make my own mobile with different pretty papers.  It will take a while before my cranes look as nice as Mina Nina's.

Thank you guys.

They are supposed to be cranes, but they look a lot like swans too. And whatever they are - it's fun making them. Smiley

I'm happy that you like your page babbetto. I wasn't sure about putting the cranes on there, because the page turned out a little heavy, but I liked it more than scanning and printing them.

Lovely! I think the cranes work so well against the flatness of the paper.

I received this beauty from kat today!

Let's just talk about the layering for a minute. Wow! I love how the torn edges overlap, love how the headless sculpture short of stands out from the page, love it all really! Thank you so much kat!

I also noticed that most of the pages I have rec'd so far seem to stick to one color theme (although I have yet to receive a yellow based page) and I put them in rainbow order (I'm a bit preschool at heart). This one is a gorgeous mix of rich colors. I think it will go last as the end of my rainbow book  Cheesy

Wow Kat, yet another amazing page from you. You really are on a roll. I love all the layers on this. Hey, that red background statue looks familiar...*scratches head*

I told TheBon that I would go ahead and post the page I belatedly sent to her.

The Front

And the Back.
I love using inchies on these pages.  Grin

Sheesh, someone's actually become addicted to said magnifying lamp  Roll Eyes. It's gotten to the point where I can't do anything without it. *tsk tsk so sad* But I do use an x-acto and spear them little letters  Wink

Thanks AM!
