We're just getting started, but everyone is decorating their own covers. Post 'em here when you're done.  Smiley

Here's the scoop on the swap itself: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=205217.0

Yay, a gallery! I can't wait to see everyone's covers too.
I also have Monday off as well and I'm hoping *crossing fingers* that I can get mine done then too. Unfortunately I now have about 6 or so directions in which I want to go with mine. argh.

I've got my bookcovers done  Cheesy

The front cover

inside front cover

inside back cover

and the back cover

Pardon the craft table mess and random cat pieces floating in the backgrounds.

This is the first time in a long time that I have made anything for myself that I can actually say I truly love.  Usually when I really like my work I wind up giving it away.

The only thing kinda bugging me is I wish I had made a more graceful join between the two stamps on the inside front cover up by the bird/words.

Ooh very nice, so delicate. Tell me, what did you use on the background piece, tissue paper? It looks so fragile but I like the way you can still see the background color through it.
I don't really have a problem with the space between the words and the bird. Isn't it nice to do something for yourself? That's actually part of the problem I'm having with mine. I can't seem to give myself a small list of ideas from which to work with so I can narrow it down from there...silly girl.

Very nice lisateacher.  I like the colors.  I would never have thought of using that orientation for my book!  Can you tell us what the words say?

Awesome job, its beautiful! Wonderful way to start the gallery.

Question...with your covers mostly seeming to be vertical orientation would you prefer your pages are as well or does it matter to you?
