Lisateacher, thanks so much for letting us in on the history of your cover, how sweet! I think it will be great to do at least one horizontal page, something different.

Racky, wow! Nice covers, love the background, LOVE the swirly stamps, really love the library card and holder, most definitely would need to find me one of those for mine own and most desperately need a stamp like that for my book...please... Grin.

Beautiful covers gals! I'm fishing through my paper stacks tonight-I have several ideas. I'm leaning to vertical now for the cover-I like that idea of being able to stand it up on different pages.

I am trying to balance my desire to work on my cover with my need to work on my halloween costume and my absolute need to do homework and housework.

I was SURE homework and housework were optional activities?  Crafting is more of a need.

Maybe you should do the homework, but the house will just get dirty again, so you can just go ahead and skip the housework.

That's true...everytime I clean my house, it just gets dirty again. Crafting is much more satisfying.

I think I have a solid idea for my cover now...even farther away from my original idea than I was yesterday.

All of my photos are hosted at Flickr.

Okay, here is the front cover outside and inside for my book (haven't gotten to the back cover yet).  I plan on adding a bunch of fibers and ribbons to the binding on this so it will have a bit more punch when the book is finished.

I just turned 33 yesterday (hence, the date stamp at the bottom and the big number).  I thought it was fitting given the letters/numbers thing.

The verse is one my 5th grade teacher used to recite to us randomly whenever she felt like it.  She was one of my favorite teachers and I think that I am only now starting to understand why she chose that particular verse.

ooooh! I love it!  The colors are great and I really do like the Alice quote.  Cheesy  Alice always rocks.
