I just finished this sweater the other day. I used wool ease yarn and I think that yarn works well for this sweater. I knit it using size 7 circular needles and size 7 dpn for the arms and neck. It fits perfectly. I am working on a tutorial for this sweater so you can make your own if you want Smiley. You can see more pics on my blog, I will post action shots when I post the tutorial which I hope to finish over the weekend.

Heres the tutorial, sorry so long.

This is not a step by step pattern but a basic tutorial. You can easily modify my instructions and make the sweater look however you desire. Be sure to study all directions before beginning.

Materials
I used 5 skeins of lionbrands woolease and made the size small

1 size 7, 29 inch circular needle

1 size 7, 16 inch circular needle

10 stitch markers(they don't need to all be the same)

Sizes
small(medium)(large)(x-large)(xx-large)

Step one- Cast on 98 stitches on smaller circular needle and place a marker, join being careful not to twist your stitches.

Step two- Work 1 inch of k1 p1 ribbing

Step three- k 16, YO, place marker, k1, place marker, YO (raglan increase), k 16, YO, place marker, k1, place marker, YO, place marker, work row 1 of lace panel, place marker, YO,place marker, k1, place marker, YO, k16, YO, place marker, k1, place marker, YO, k 15

Row 4 and all even rows will be knit.

From here on you will work all raglan increases as follows: YO, slip marker, k1, slip marker, YO. You will continue working rows 1-12 of the lace pattern inside the lace panel. When your work measures approximately 6.5 (7.5)(8.5)(9.5)(10.5) inches.

When work gets to big to fit on your needle switch to the larger circular needle.

End with and odd row.

This next row you will be seperating the sleeves from the body. Knit until you reach the first stitch marker, remove the marker and place all of the stitches between here and the next marker on a stitch holder(this is your first sleeve). Continue to knit until you reace the next armhole increase, remove the markers and place all the stitches between here and the next markers on a stitch holder(this is your second sleeve)knit to the end.

Now all the stitches you have on your circular needle will be used to knit the remainder of the body. The body has no shaping, you will simply work all stitches in stockinette stitch EXCEPT the lace panel stitches. For the lace panel stitches you will continue to work in lace pattern.

When body reaches approximately 16(17)(18)(19)(20) inches from top you will begin to work in k1 p1 ribbing for 1.5 inches and then bind off loosely.

The sleeves will be worked on a smaller circular needle and will be worked completely in stockinette stitch until they reach 24(25)(26)(27)(28) inches in length. Work 1.5 inches in k1 p1 ribbing. Bind off loosely.

This sweater is meant to fit loosely.

Love this and your lacy tee. I'd actually add the lillian tank to my to-knit list if it weren't so close to winter. I can't believe you're so young. You'll be published before you're 30 at this rate! Your knitting is out of control. I demand you stop so I can quit feeling like such an under-achiever. Color me envious.

Love it.  When you get the tutorial ready, do you think it'd be a good first sweater?  I'm trying to find the perfect one and just love this.
