After knitting for what seemed like forever at a gauge of 28x30, I was in deep need of an easy finish, easy knit project.

Project in question? Kelly Maher's Ribbed Lace Bolero, which is available free on her website.

For my particular bolero, I knitted at 4st/inch and I have a 16" shoulder span, so I cast on 94 stitches. I used leftover stash yarn from a previous project, and is Bendigo Woollen Mills Aran yarn.

The pattern is extremely easy to follow, has very very little seaming, and it took me all of three days of knitting to complete!

For anyone looking at a simple , destash project, I would highly recommend this

I understand the need for a quick knit project.  Your bolero turned out great and it looks cute on you.

that is lovely! did you use all 200g? i've got 100g of noro (the one beginning with k...) knocking about, was thinking about doing either the main section or the rib in it, and the other part in a plain yarn, do you think 100g would be enough for either?

Love the color, very nice. I've been eyeing this project for a while, and I think you've sold me on it!

It looks really cute on you.  I love it with the shirt that you've chosen to wear with it.

Good job!

this pattern is so adorable! i knit a little bit, but how difficult would this be for a beginner? I've resisted knitting for a while because it just takes forever compared to crochet, but three days doesn't sound so bad.

Your bolero looks awesome!  I've had the pattern, but have been putting it off for some reason.  Your's looks awesome though, so I think I will go home tonight and start working on it.
