Thank you all for the compliments on the sun catcher! I'm glad that some of you like it. I didn't think it was too great.
I have no idea what gauge the wire is.  Undecided It's just... uh... wire...
And from what I've heard, the flat marbles work well with this, too. I haven't tried it myself though, so if you try it and it turns out well, please let me know!

Holy cow...if that's your first attempt at bending wire you're going to be a natural at it! I really like your suncatcher!

Those marbles came out so pretty, i wanted to ask should i bake the marbles in a bowl so its easier to dump them in the water. I just have a vision of my feet being burned by dozens of marbles that didnt make it to the bowl from the pan.

wow these are so pretty!  i have one question though... is the outside of the marble rough and cracked or is it still smooth?

I didn't have any problems with using the pie pan. I went with the pie pan as opposed to a cookie sheet because it does still have a decent rim to it so the marbles aren't going to fall out. Unless, of course, you trip and they go flying everywhere or something. But I think most people shouldn't have a problem.
The marbles are smooth on the outside. It's really amazing how that works out.  Smiley
