So this is an assignment for my 2/D Design class... create an animal portrait using only symbols. It's 17"x14" on recycled drawing paper with a .05 Micron pen.

Yes... those are all symbols. Oodles and oodles of tiny tiny circles. I also used the number 7 and the ankh symbol. I drew the whole thing in pencil first then went over it in pen. my hand hurts...

I hope everyone likes it! I spent a lot of time on it. Let me know what you think Smiley

Love it.  These kinds of things are so difficult to plan, but then the outcome is totally worth it!

That is awesome! I"m so jealous of your talent! I thought it was really good when I thought you had just drawn it, but knowing that you did it with symbols makes it even more amazing! Great job!

That's so cool! How long did it take? Did you do it all at once or in sessions?  I love the shading.

Wow thanks for all the nice comments Smiley

Yes I did do it in sessions... I worked on it for 8 three-hour class sessions plus a couple of hours outside of class. I'm presenting it tomorrow for critique, I'm going to put it on a black piece of matboard for that.

Thanks Smiley
