Well, I was making something else... but the color of the yarn and the way it was turning out reminded me of a turtle....

So a turtle it became! Meet Pebbles! Cheesy

This is Pebbles without her shell... to show what the pieces of the shell look like...

The back view (cute tail, eh?)

I wrote out the pattern as I went along and will be writing it up soon. What do you think? Smiley Comments appreciated!

very cute!  can you take his shell off when it's all sewn up?  I think it would be hilarious to make him different color/different pattern shells for him.  Smiley

Holy Cow!! I think I'm in love.  this has to be the cutest thing I've seen in a while.  As soon as you get the pattern up I'm going to try it.. even though I'm sure it won't be as cute as yours!
