My first time posting a pic...bear with me!

I made this christamas tree from a piece of peg board. My dad cut out the shape and I painted it. I fastened all the ornaments on with green ornament hooks.  It's great because they bend and twist. The lights are strung using the hooks also. When christmas is done, I put it in a big bag made for real trees, tie it up and put it in the cellar for next year. No muss..no fuss!

That's cute.  Cheesy  I had to settle for a tree made of lights on our living room wall.  Cheesy  LOL  At least my boys like it.

My mom used to make lawn decorations for sports team mascots (our favorite was KU Jayhawk of course, but she ended up selliing all sorts of things).  She would cut the shape out of wood, paint it, and then drill holes for different color lights to pop into, matching the painted design.  it was really pretty cool.  COuld you pop the lights through the peg board holes?  It would be nifty.

Very cute the way it is!!  Great for small spaces!
