I used the last of my fabric of this to make this obi-belt.

I used this tutorial after a google search and it was actually easy. It took me about, 45 minutes including cutting/ironing/sewing time.


Here it is just hanging out.

On me. I had to modify it, you know, me being a big gal and such.

I will wear it layered like I did here though, but maybe on it's own with a dress or something.

I am now, offically, on a belt kick.

It looks very good. I am also a very round person, would never have thought a belt of any kind would look good. I am also short , so all the rules say no belts. But You looks so good with it. I think I am making one for myself.

That is awesome and it does look nice layered. I bet it would look really pretty with a empire waist dress that has a full skirt then it would really drawn your eye to the belt. I am going to have to try one!
