Could we push it back one more week? I've just sent on a swap, and am waiting for feed back.  If not, no worries!  Aaak, I can't believe it's February already!

I want to do it! I'm taking a Shakespeare class right now. It gave me an excuse to by a collection of his plays...

I'm new here...been lurking as a guest on these boards for about 3 weeks now and you guys amaze me! So darn crafty!

I'm a bit of a Shakespeare freak myself, and I have to admit, these swaps intrigue me. I'd love to do one but I'm not quite sure I understand the concept fully. I think I need to go read the FAQ Wink

Absolutely. I will start sign ups the week of the 11th. How about crafting a large item, 1 small item and a small item (or a couple).

Should we stick to the literature, or should we pull from movies like Shakespeare in Love? That might be fun too.

I can't possibly be the only one who's still got Mercutio's lines memorized from sixth grade.  Grin

Ah, yes.

I think that the 11th would work out fine for me!

The 11th is perfect for me too!

Also I agree that we should include the movies too. Shakespeare in Love is one of my absolute faves and seeing Much Ado in 10th grade is what started my Shakespeare obsession in the first place. My teacher saw how much I loved the movie and gave me a collection of his works to read and it was over.  Grin

I WANT IN.

No, seriously, I was just wandering around thinking about Macbeth and how if there was a Macbeth swap it would be the awesomest of awesome things.  I'm a bit Macbeth obsessed.  Before that it was Twelfth Night.   Cheesy

But, um, if it's still up for discussion, to be really on board, I'd need a bit more time between sign ups and send outs; I'm in the middle of knitting a pair of socks for a birthday that will already be late without my being distracted by new projects.  Undecided

Plus, the Macbeth tartan is very handsome. Gloomy colors, of course.
