A quick and easy knit!

Pattern if from IK Fall '07.  Original pattern is a men's sweater.  A swatch and a little math and voila - a woman's sweater.  Knit in Classic Elite Skye Tweed on US 7 needles.  I'm really happy with the color and fit.  And finished just in time for the fall weather!

Lovely. I've been thinking about knitting the men's version for my husband but now that I see the women's adaptation... Tongue

ooh, I've been wanting one, too, and yours looks so nice.  I'm glad to see what it looks like on a woman!  did you make any mods other than casting on fewer stitches?  also, do you mind me asking what size your finished sweater is and how many balls of the skye tweed you used for it?

Very Nice!
I would also like to know what modifications you made. I really liked this sweater when I first saw it and I think I need a new sweater more than my husband. Wink

I too am interested in your mods. How long did the sweater take you? (I'm knitting a different sweater for my dad, which I would totally frog if it turned out that this would be faster.)

I love it!  I would love to make it for my husband, but he won't wear it.  Making it for myself would be a great alternative!
