You gotta love those Smiley.  After seeing what everyone here has done with pillowcases, I've been keeping a lookout, but I definitely haven't found anything that nice yet!  Love the shape and how you've made each one unique just using the existing pattern of each fabric!

These are way super oober cute! How did you do it?! Out of pillow cases? What kind of interlacing did you use? and the snaps for the front?

im officially obsessed with your purple one! wud u be so kind as to o i dunno... post up a turtorial?Huh

Just follow the instructions for an a-line jordy bag posted by shs here:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=3105.0
as well as Jordy's Jordy Bag tutorial.

I used heavy iron-on interfacing. I didn't use any snaps - only velcro for 2 of the bags, which was sewn onto the flap lining before it sewn onto the flap fabric, and sewn onto the bag after it was pulled thru the hole in the lining.
The first bag has beads sewn around the flap, and the purple bag has a button sewn on the front.

Very nice!  What's at the bottom of the flap of the first purse?  Are those beads or pompons?  That one's my fave anyways.

They are beads which I sewed on after I finished the bag.
