Monk in his ensemble:

My first attempt at actually sewing clothes and its not too terrible.

My model is asleep. I'll attempt to force him to wear this tomorrow.  He says he doesn't like the parts I sewed.  Little Turd Butt.

the pants are thin wale corduroy with cotton cuffs with pumpkins.  I serged almost the entire pants, which was scary and fun - fast but if you screw up goodbye seam allowance.  I did it anyway.  I'll serge more - love not having to finish and clip seams. The cuff construction is bizarre - i should have finished the pants except for the hem sewed a ring of cloth the same size, flipped them inside and then flipped up.  Oh well - live and learn.  Pants are easy.  I'll make more.

the pants legs and cuffs look perfectly even in real life - weird it looks so uneven in the photo.  I looked at the photo and had to go make sure they weren't really like that...thank goodness they are not.

The hoodie vest i sewed on the sewing machine and not the serger- was nervous about the construction being more complicated and I thought it would be nice to preserve the seam allowances.  I'm pleased especially with the bias tape in the armholes - looks great:

And I'm VERY proud of the zipper which came out very nice:

The ensemble with the walmart jackolantern shirt he will wear it with:
