So i think i waited until the last possible moment to go christmas shopping huh? Well i already know what to do about everyone else on my list but i am pretty clueless as for what to get my brother. He is 13, likes skateboarding, cars, sailing, and any type of technical gadget (think radioshack) but i cant really afford something more than about 20 bucks. I really cant think of anything to craft that he would actually like. Any suggestions? Huh

-New wheels, bearrings(i think i spelt that wrong), or trucks for his skateboard
-A model of a really cool classic car
-A model of a sailboat
-A hand held organizer(if he doesn't think that would be to geeky)

Thats all I can think of for now!

Look in the phone book and see if there are any cool skateboarding stores. If you find one they usually have t-shirts and other stuff too that I bet you could buy for $20. Otherwise, I think the idea of trucks, wheels and berrings is good.   Wink

My skater friends have loved duct tape wallets and manly wrist cuffs (I made one out of a beer can once.)

Hacky sacks, a wallet chain, bandanas, basebals cap, flannel boxers or pants to wear around the house.
Um a video or DVD:
> "Gleamming the Cube" skatboardung movie with  the added goodness of Christain Slater.
> "Days of Thunder" Race car movie with the added goodness of Tom Cruise.
Um was there one called "WIND" about Americas Cup?
>  "Dogtown and Z-Boys" documentary about the Zephyr skating team from the 70's. Stacy Peralta is one of the writters, he sponserd TONY HAWK ( a well known name in skateboarding) for a few yrs.
>  Airborne(1993)  with Seth Green From the Buffy series is abt skateboardking.

Burn a CD:  the sondtract to Dogtown & Z Boys was really good.
http://shop.fye.com/product.aspx?sku=60556100&loc=50244   list of the songs on the soundtrack.
all I can think off off the top of my head.

Wink  I guess great minds think alike  ....  When I went to vist my brother in Soutern Cal he took me to the beaches from the movies. He had a whole list of surf movies I was to watch before I went. He has met Stacy P, & Tony Alva while surfing. I got to meet Tony he is really cool, laid back....  =)

kaleidoscope eyes: if your brotehr is alt all into surfing the movie BLUE CRUSH is a so so story but he'd porb like the "eye candy". & the extras on the DVD are quite good.
