I received from bronzfrog today.  It is so adorable!

I will post after I get new batteries in my camera.

Yay buttons!

I got my batteries...

I was hoping I was getting a clear one even though I didn't send a clear one... Roll Eyes sder!  My studio is really colorful so this is perfect.

Here is a picture of the loot I got with it.  My daughter organized them all by color.  I used to love to play my Grandma's button box when I was a kid too.

Thanks bronzfrog!!!!

My COOL button box/purse from eye_on_sparrow!  Even though mine went out late, and I was going to wait to open her package to me, she prodded me to open it - so I did - and it's beautiful!  Thank you, eye_on_sparrow!

Now, let's see if I can get the pics in here correctly:

Full shot - please excuse my crafting crap in the background

Inside

Detail of front (amazing applique work - and she's a real beauty!)

More front detail

Lovely beaded handle

LOTS of very cool buttons!  I tried to take close-up pics, but I think I have the settings on my cam screwed up - they came out very blurry - so I had to settle for posting this group shot of all of the buttons.

And the very sweet card she sent - We have a cat that looks just like this!

Thank you, again, eye_on_sparrow - you were a great swap partner!

Your box is so sweet!  I would never have thought of making a cigar box button purse.   Cheesy  And the kitty card is awesome.

I'm glad you opened your package cherry_chickentoes that was driving me crazy knowing you had it in your possession and didn't look at it yet.  Glad you liked it too and you took some great pics.  I forgot to take pics until after I had it all packed up.  I really enjoyed crafting for you and I was quite happy with the way everything turned out.  Everything looks fantastic so far.

Copied from the main swap thread just in case it was missed Smiley:

Just a few things:
  • Make sure you post photos in the gallery of your package once you've received it. That's all a part of the swap process: Showing off your partner's crafts!
  • All of the partner info, who has sent, etc can be found on the first post of the gallery. It's not a bad idea to check it every now and then and make sure it's updated correctly for you and your partner.
  • Contact me, the organizer, when you've received. I may not always check the gallery for photos, and I really need to hear it from you personally, rather than having to go digging for it.

Everything's looking great so far!

I received from Elphalba today, and boy do I love the buttons!  The googlie-eyed box is something to behold in person -- it seems to watch you no matter where you are  Cheesy Plus, she included stamps that go with others she has sent me in the past.  Thanks Elphalba!
