Okay, I think I have everything on track now. Thanks for being patient, I have had the week from hell.  Roll Eyes

There are some people who sent in the questionnaires last week, but I'm just now approving them all. So I'm thinking I will close the swap to new applicants now, but I'll let those who are already approved continue to claim until the 30th. Does that make sense? If it does, is that setup okay with everyone?

seconded.  i admire the organisational skills of organisers (if that makes sense).  i feel bad for never doing it, but i know i'm hopeless at even keeping track of what day it is.

hope your week picks up a bit for the weekend. Kiss  i had a really awful week too - 5 final exams in 7 days. ugh. Sad

at least now i can say i'm finished high school for EVER!!!!  i should probably ask myself why i was signing up for swaps during what was probably one of the most stressful weeks of my life. Huh

Yay looks like i just managed to get in Smiley

I would also like to give dizzylizzy a small round of applause for organising - ongoing swaps look like they could cause several nightmares Smiley

HERE'S THE LAST LIST POSTED, for CFBandit:

Hi everyone! I'm Concetta from the US and this is my 1st claim. I claim LizzieMcGuire for wool for spinning!

I'd be happy to receive from anywhere!

My wishlist is:

-knitting magazines or books ( I can read in French and English)
-MotoGP gear for my DH (hats, bandanas, postcards, etc)
-interesting yarns or fabrics (recycled yarn is very cool if you find some locally made sweaters or something)
-scrapbooking supplies like papers or ephemera
-handmade knitting needles or crochet hooks
-cookbooks in French or English (vintage or new or magazine, doesn't matter)
-this one's going to be tough, but if you see anything related to loom knitting, I'd *really* like to get that! Books, local made looms, magazines, etc.

And if you could do me a favor and throw in a postcard of where you're at, I'd really appreciate it - I'm keeping a scrapbook of all of my swap partners!   Grin

Thanks!

Thanks rackycoo! I've been at a conference since Friday night working the exhibit booth.

I'd also add any wool roving to spin would be very welcome!

Also, I love Wrigleys blueberry gum which is only available in Asia!

And beanie babies from any country other than the US would be great!

Thanks!

hello, i am nirauan i live on the east coast of england and i claim CFBandit for scrapbooking supplies and possibly yarn & knitting mags if i can get my hands on anything good.

i am happy to recieve from anywhere

crafting supplies are always welcome, i paint, stencil, sew, make jewelry. make polymer clay beads and have just learnt to knit so anything related to those crafts would be great, - oh and i am also planning on starting making soap and screen printing.

i am a big science fiction fan so anything sci fi related (especially in languages other than english) would be great

any touristy stuff from your area

errrm thats about all i can think of at the moment. i m a really easy swap partner i just like getting packages Smiley
