Ok, I made another one, (very quick this time) to show the pattern and another way t make the head.

Pattern:





Cut the selected material, saw and fill it. (the orange Homuncle is filled with sand, this second with cotton. I like the sand one more, but if you are planning to send one to a friend I cannot imagine the total amount of shipping it would be if he's filled with sand!. Also the 1st one is a lot bigger).

Now you choose eyes (buttons in my case). Put one, and continue sewing side to side to make the nose/mouth... form



you will have this in the 2 sides



Attach the other eye



Make some clothes for him (or her) and you're done.
If you little one is not wearing a cap you need to sew the neck differently (I sew it quickly and without worry about the seams because this one will have a very big cap).

I know this is a tut, (and a great one, tks btw) but the pic of the little guy with the needle through his head pulled my heart strings!  The things he had to go through!!!  Wink
