Nothing elaborate, but OHSOMUCH fun!

My best friend visited me this weekend, so, clearly, we had to dress up as zombies and wander around the mall. Eventually we got kicked out by the mall cop, so we decided to wander around campus. Then a coffeeshop. Then the grocery store.
Yes. Yes, indeed.
I was super excited because I finally got my fake bruises to totally work, I think. The one on my shoulder is my favorite, but I like the way the side of my neck came out, too.

The bruises were just rust brown eyeshadow, smeared in a circular motion, and dark blue-grey eyeshadow--i.e., stuff I had just sitting around. Fab! I like the thing on my leg, too--I think I'm going to get some liquid latex to experiment with soon to make things blend better.

any future tips from spooky people here?

Does your mall have a Halloween store in it? If it does, I would have just lied to the mall cop and told him you work for the store and are going around promoting it. I did that one year. Me and some friends decided to randomly dress up a couple of weeks before Halloween. Mall cop tried to kick us out. I told him if he kicked us out he'd make us lose our job for the Halloween store, lol. He believed us, and told us just not to scare the little kids.  Grin

As it stands, your bruises came out nice.  Not as bruises per se, but the neck one reminds me of some of the best, most realistic, smeared dried blood I've ever seen.  Then again, that might just be my moniter, since I can make out that awesome rust color, but not so much of the blue.  Using common materials, you did a FANTASTIC job.  The cut on your leg came out wonderfully too!

Definitely invest in some liquid latex.  It's the funnest thing ever.  I'm sorry to hear you got kicked out of the mall, but that happens.  I'm amazed no one's said anything to me yet, given as much as I've dressed up, but so far the only words I got were compliments.   Grin

Weird. I've gone out in my zombie make-up loads of times and never been kicked out of anywhere. Yours is ultra-realistic, though.

Yaaay, craftsters are so nice! Thanks, everyone! And thanks RevvX--your makeup jobs are awesome. Smiley

I am also loving BoredYetCynical's idea...although our mall does not have a Halloween store. There IS a Hot Topic, however...

I have yellow make up and liquid latex now! I shall be going to town.
