hand painted with puffpaint and brush..   i made this dress thinking it would look good on me since a) i'm not that curvy and b) the style looked amazing on the super-curvy marylin monroe.  but it really just made me look pregnant..    so instead of finishing it up with hems and paint and wearing it to prom, i left it half-finished and on the day of prom.. i created this:

I really, really am stunned by them. I agree with btyqnfrmmars, the yellow one is definately my favourite, because it has flowers 
Did you use patterns for them? Either way, you have some talent there girl.

i love them! especially the yellow one- the fabric is gorgeous and flattering, and i love the artistically placed flowers. Why is the other dress not a "real" dress? It's triplesweet! (I'd wear it out)

the linked dress isn't "real" because i didn't actually wear it to prom..     i guess the first dress in this post should be considered un"real" too though..

Very cute! I'm olive toned so I don't really wear yellow, looks great on you though. Hmm, maybe the top one would work better if the v shape and waist were a little lower??

I'm mal proportioned and always looking for ideas of clothes to make that will fit. I end up with flour sack shapeless dresses or falling out somewhere. I really like the first dress, but I doubt it'd work on me.

They are all so beautiful! I absolutely love the ribbon one and the green pin-stripped one.

Oh, the ribbon one is sweet and if you have another prom I would suggest wearing it. It's so damn cute and original!
