a finished Rowan's Iceland:http://knitrowan.com/html/magazines_slide_show.asp?productCode=ZM42&serial=74&slideSerial=688!

my camera is being a bit wonky and I couldn't figure out why but here are some pics:

I subsituted the yarn with blue sky suri merino which is sooo super lush and the needle size down to 9.  I wish my LYS had cocoon so I wouldn't have to sub but it feels amazing and I am glad its done!  The sleeves are a bit larger than I hoped but all and all I am sure it will get lots of good use.

That is definitely awesome.  I love the leaf pattern and the fact that you don't have to worry about it looking fitted.  Great job.

aww glad you guys like it!  Cheesy
it was a really easy pattern - knit in 3 pieces - the body and the 2 ribbed sections - I am sure it would be an easy addition to anyone's pattern queue!

Niiiice! I've been eyeing that design for a while now. The leaf motif is really, really, really pretty, and I'm sure it's warm. I think I'd look as if I buried my face in the biscuit tin though.  Cheesy

cranberry - i am sure you would look lovely!
and messymel - I had a mole removed between my ribs so couldn't do much else!

The Rowan magazines are so pricy but have such lovely and interesting patterns  -this one in particular didn't have too much shaping going on so was a really easy knit!

This is really beautiful.  Great job.

The pattern doesn't say, so I'm wondering how much yarn you used for this?  I have a beautiful alpaca blend waiting for a use, and I'm thinking about flubbing my own version of this....

Craft-matic:  with the Cocoon the pattern called for 8 skeins.  With the yarn I subsituted for I bought 8 but ended up using 6 (just a bit of that last skein too!).
This is a really easy pattern - I love the fact that the main body is all one piece.  You should totally make it!
And thanks everyone!!  So glad you like it!
