I participate in a LARP game called Vampire the masquerade. Every year there is a special event in Milwaukee Wisconsin called midwinter. It's usually held in January and every year they have a different theme. Last years was Twisted Fairy Tales. It being my first Midwinter, I wanted to have a costume that was pretty cool. I had wanted to use my old prom dress (which was blue with no sleeves). I kept thinking of different princess's and just could not think of a twisted version of a typical fairy tale princess. My boyfriend however, came up with a good one. Beauty AS the Beast. So  I got some fake theatrical fur, spirit gum and a black tiara from Johnny Brock's Dungen. I would use my own make up and black hooded cape for the rest of the costume. Unfortunately, I didn't pack an extra dress and got that friggin spirit gum all over the dress.... however, fortunately for me, my friend brought an extra dress... which was black and medieval style. The costume turned out pretty good.

Here's me modeling it with my best friend.

The bad part is... Spirit gum is the itchiest stuff I've ever had on my face. So it stayed on for all of half an hour before I couldn't take it anymore. I took the stuff off, along with the tiara, and just went as little goth riding hood for the rest of the night.
