I made this for the Fall/Winter Scarf Swap. Whew, is fair isle intense or not? SIX COLORS! six. It took me i don't know how many weeks to finish within the deadline next week. I watched 7 (!!!) hours worth of musicals yesterday in order to finish. And i still have more to knit ... Smiley

Its knit in the round, the chart is completely my own (If anyone wants it, PM me). The yarn is Elann Peruvian Highland Wool.

Close Up of the pattern

The scarf, fringe and all.

And the action shot Smiley

Chart is on the second page. I used color coding for each of the colors, so to change colors for your potential scarf, just use the fill tool to change it Smiley I think it would be lovely in an aqua/green layout

Wow!  Sort of makes me want to learn to knit, and sort of lets me realize I don't have the patience for it!

You did an awesome job.

There were some really cool books in my public library back home (Sunnyvale, CA) that had ways to chart fair isle. I forget the name, but you could probably do a search for fair isle knitting online.

That's GORGEOUS! I'm not the best at fair isle knitting, so I'll just have to drool over yours until I can match this level of awe-inspiring expertise.  Wink The pattern is beautiful and I love the way the colors fade in and out.
