With the list of good places to sight boys: perhaps a map and coupons to get her there (there are some very hot boys in one of the coffee shops here); some dark shades so the guys can only wonder if she is watching them; pepper spray in case one of them gets too observing of her; a small sketchbook, ebony pencils, and a figure drawing guide.....

Hey, I know stuff like this has been posted before but for a combo Valentine's Day/2 year anniversary present I am doing a "Jake and Julie in a box"...I just thought I'd list what I included if you need some inspiration!
- sno balls (the pastry cakes) and a knit hat (we got to know each other when we went skiing with a group of friends)
- a photo album with pics of us, friends, and all kinds of significant places
- a customized coffee mug because we fell in love in a coffee shop
- a cd of significant songs, some serious and some silly
- handpuppets from homestarrunner.com because we quote it an awful lot
- a framed quotation from Shakespeare's "Cymbeline" because we went to see his friends from home in it shortly after we started dating
- some dried flowers from a pond near our dorm where we used to hang out a lot
- "stuffed" versions of us...I'm cheating and buying stuffed animals (a dinosaur for him, a cat or bear for me) and making them "look" like us

We went to college together (well, I'm still in college) and he graduated this year, so we're adjusting to this being apart thing.  I think this will be a nice keepsake for us to have.  Thanks for all the great ideas!

It's actuallly illegal in some places.  Here (Atlanta), I've seen it at ACE Hardware and at Wal-Mart (I think).

I was gonna make a "18 yr old in a box" for my friends 18th bday... but then I realized there's really not that much that's related to an 18th bday. LOL.

So i'm gonna do Sex in a box...

So far i've got:
Condoms (different flavors/colors and stuff)
Lube
Motion lotion
Massage oil

And then my brain stops working. LOL

Any ideas?

Cool, I did something similar for my friend's bachelorette party!

Some ideas:
--Cheap plastic handcuffs? Or a few scarves (might be cheaper/easier to find.)
--A feather. Always fun.  Grin Great big, pretty ones can be found in the kitty-toy aisles of pet stores.
--If it's for a girl, you could make her some pasties or nipple jewelry, like these:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=31452.0 if she's into/open to that kinda thing.
--Maybe a can of redi-whip? Or honey or chocolate sauce... heh  Tongue
--On the more romantic side, maybe a scented candle.
--What about a mix CD of sexy/romantic/mood-setting music?

Aaaand... I'm out, for now!  Cheesy
Hope this helps.  Smiley
