My mom is going on a company vacation to Cancun (she's a receptionist for an orthodontist.)

I wanted to make her "Cancun in a box".

So far I have:

SPF 45
Us Weekly Mag (celeb gossip for the plane)
A decorated visor
Some random Cancun stickers I found

Any other ideas??

Any other ideas??
A disposable camera?
a cool beach bag? (so it could be Cancun in a bag?)
flip flops?
celeb shades/sunglasses complete with rhinestones?  Roll Eyes

P.S. I love your screen name. I laughed out loud! Grin GeeYouKnit=G-Unit

hey, any ideas for EX-girlfriend in a box?
my lil' sis needs a revenge type gift for her ex-boyfriend.

To show my ex how much I cared about him and missed him, I gave him a shoebox that I filled with:

- every picture I've ever owned of him/us, each cut up into very small pieces and taped back to paper in lovely mosaic fashion. I wrote nice messages on the paper around the pictures like "Hope you're happy, but you still suck at life" and "He's so much better than you anyway" etc.
- the remains of every letter he ever wrote me. Most were shredded, some were burned.
- [some] of the cheap jewelry he bought me. The rest I kept cause it was pretty ;x
- the remains of the teddy bear he bought me. I tore apart every seam the poor thing had. I filled the box with its cotton. And I ripped out its eyes, for fun.

On the top of the box, I wrote "cheap therapy" and gave it to him. He opened it and just sorta looked at it, closed it, and handed it back. Now it's in my closet and I look at it every once and a while because, well... it makes me happy.
But he was a real jerk. If your sister's ex is terrible at existing, then by all means, go extreme.

Those are great suggestions.   In your case, did it make it seem like you cared more than you should?  I don't want her to give him the impression that she misses him, just that he sucks.  Wink

I'm thinking of making one of thse for a friend of mine but I have no ideas...
- She'll be sixteen
- She's pretty quiet
- She's kinda gothic but usually she doesn't care what she wears
- She still acts like she's fourteen
- She's learning to play guitar
- She likes to sing, as well
Yeah..I don't know but I don't know if I want it to be really centered on one thing or not. Any ideas, even if it's not a '_______ in a box' idea are greatly appreciated being that I want this done by Monday.  Tongue

Someone who's just learning is probably pretty good with keeping track of guitar picks, but once she gets into it she's going to need an abundance of them because she's going to keep losing them.

Okay, you babes of jazz, let's pick up the pace!  Let's make the parties longer, let's make the skirts shorter.  Let's all go to hell in a fast car and keep it hot!

Yeah, I was thinking that but I don't want to seem cheap by giving her just guitar picks, ya know? I'm out of ideas though.

Yeah, that was just the first thing I thought of.  Maybe a manicure set complete with a bottle of black nail polish?  To keep the nails appropriately groomed for the guitar while keeping some gothic flare.

Since she's turning sixteen, she'll probably be driving soon?  Maybe a gas card or something related?

Or...some sketchbooks or journals, since quiet people need to express themselves, too!
