When I think classy, I automatically think of martini glasses. I think two martini glasses, some cocktail napkins and an ettiquette book would suffice

Any suggestions for a 'Get Well in a Box' type thing? I'm not really sure exactly what to call it, but just a whole bunch of stuff for recovering from a cold. I'd love to do something like that to cheer a friend up next time they're sick.

ok...i'm way to lazy to see if it has already be said or what...i made a search but couldn't find. My friend's always complaining about not being intelligent so i decided to make her a "smart in a box" i already tough about these:

-Intelligence Pills (candy in a pill bottle)
-A box of pens (she loves crazy school supply) saying : Corrector pens that correct mistakes for you (or someting like that)

what else could i put in it?

You could include something from every one of the 8 intelligence areas. Like for Verbal-Linguistic you could include a smart book, like something from Joseph Heller, Math-Logic could be one of those keychain calculators from Staples, Spatial could be like a Rubix cube or a book of Sudoku puzzles, Bodily-Kinesthetic could be some supplies for crafting (yay). Um, for Musical you could give her a mix cd of Classical music, or any music really, Classical just seems smart. For Naturalist you could include a book about bird watching or gardening. Intrapersonal could be a journal or a Chicken Soup for the Soul book. The only one I'm not sure how you would put in a box is Interpersonal... a book about public speaking?
I hope this helps at all!

Everything I can think of about turning 18 isn't really something worth celebrating about, how sad! Most of them will get you into trouble!
At 18 you have the right to bear arms, you could include a little squirt gun as a joke. A notebook to bring to JURY DUTY. (eww ha) At 18 you can get married without parental consent. A veil? Or bowtie if it's a guy.
A voting registration card! That's pretty important.
Most things about turning 18 aren't really that fun... buying cigarettes, getting a credit card, owning property, get an abortion, buy (or make) dirty movies, be tried as an adult in court, drop out of public school.
I do like the scratch off lotto tickets.
