I bought a fairtrade tee from Topshop that I was never going to wear. So after doing a japanese influenced project at art college, inspiration struck me!

There's 18 flowers in total, all individually handpainted with acrylic and textile medium, and three sequins individually stitched in the centre of each. It took a while to do, but I'm really pleased with how it came out Smiley Sorry for the blurry picture, I'll post some of the detail when I can find my camera!

Thankyou! Altogther it took around 4 hours, which wasn't as long as I thought it'd take.
The flowers don't go around the back, but I'm thinking of putting a small cluster on a bottom corner of the back?

a small cluster would look nice
as long as it doesn't look over-done, you know?

or maybe (since I see it curves to the right at the bottom) you could..go all the way around the bottom? (around your waist?) I dunno exactly how it'd look though..

oh, i absolutely love it! haha, like someone else said, i'd probably only get through a few of flowers before giving up.
and i think the little cluster in the back would be very neat.

That looks so great - the colours of the lilies look great with the top colour. Congratulations on making something a bit boring look awesome!
