Oh dear, yes, please...no more craft related injuries!

I am almost done with my blocks and have already wrapped up two of my packages.  I just need finishing touches on the other two and they'll be ready to go.  I should be able to make it to the post office tomorrow.  I'll let you know as soon as I've mailed my blocks off.  They're kind of a pair, so I really hope you all like them!

For the non-paper piecers, I have left the paper on the back of my blocks to be taken off once you add them into your quilt.  Paper pieced blocks have lots of bias edges and if you take the paper off before sewing the raw edges, the block can get all stretched out.  Please let me know if I can give you any pointers for removing the paper.  It does take a few minutes and you have to be gentle, but it's well worth the end result.

I want to give a big THANK YOU to annamhudson.  My name is this swap as co-organizer, but once we decided we wanted to do this and how, she really pulled it together and has done everything from posting the swap and gallery and keeping everyone informed about what's going on.  So YAY Anna!   Kiss

I will want some pointers about taking off the paper. I don't understand how to do it. I left my squares a little bigger because I don't have a quilting kit but I sure want one. Which things are needed for a starter machine quilter?- briana

your welcome jen! Also when you take off the paper i go backwards with the numbers. Also I kind of fold them back and forth on the line. That will help.

As soon as I get my camera back from being repaired, I'm going to do a quick paper-removal video.  I've had several people ask me recently and I thought watching might really help!

Anna, you're much more organized than me...I just go at it higgledy-piggledy!

By the way, I have not mailed anything yet.  Blah...it's been "one of those weeks" tomorrow or Friday at the latest.  At least I'll make the deadline!

Are we signing our blocks?  I was halfway done packing my blocks up when I remembered we'd talked about signing them.  Has anyone signed theirs?  Do you want me to sign them?
