I received from my wonderful partner, cold dinner.
It was a jaw-dropping, awesome package! For someone who doesn't know much about El Dia De Los Muertos, she pulled it off really well. I'll be posting up some pictures up tomorrow after class and then you guys can see the awesomeness!
Thank you cold dinner!!!
I took pictures, I took pictures!! Here we go!
The whole shebang of crafted Dia De Los Muertos goodies:

Really, this is such an great package. The clutch is perfectly made and is absolutely beautiful! Plus she added a homemade skull cameo that is freaking cool! Then I got this cool knitted red beret hat thing which is perfect. It also has this little skull dude on it which is really cool.

The ipod cozy is adorable and fits perfectly. She also included some pretty barrettes and a choker that reminds me of some I had on my wists.

I L-O-V-E-D everything. I haven't sent off my package to cold dinner yet, so you can imagine the swap anxiety. I need to up my game!

P.S. I now realize the amount of times I wrote the word cool.

wheee! I got my package today, as I was headed out the door with the baby to mail mine!
 Thank you Edel! Yeaaa, Hugs!!!
I wish mine would hurry up and get there so I can do another swap!

Here's everything altogether. There's an adorable bag with handmade sugar skull appliqués, a necklace, earrings, marble magnets, and an awesome dancing skeleton t-shirt. The pendant is painted wood, and the magnets are hand drawn (and maybe partly painted?), rather than photocopied. I'm wearing the shirt, earrings and necklace right now! (Till my 8 month old gets up from her nap, scared of her and dangly earrings!) and there's candy, which I'm going to start eating after I finish this post!-

Here's the jewelry up closer, the jolly rogers on the earrings have little rhinestones on the ends of the bones, and the skeletons and flowers on the pendant match the skeleton on the shirt-

This is a close up of the skull appliqués on the bag, they're soooo adorable!-

And this is the skeleton on the shirt, closer up with the flowers-

And lastly, my so-so attempt to photograph the inside pocket of the bag, made in both flowered fabrics used on the outside-

Yea! Thank you again Edel!!! Smiley

WOW!!!  Ammasmama, you got some great loot!

Edel, you did a fantabulous job!  I love the fabric you used for the bag! Cheesy  Did you use the gel bleach technique to paint the t-shirt?  That dancing skeleton is awesome!

i meant to ask how the shirt was done too, it seems like so much detail for bleach!
