Valley Quilts in Trenton Rocks!  They are only a year old, but they have lots of fabric and quilt stuff- patterns, books, machines, classes.  Worth the drive. They are on-line too.

I can tell you for sure that Aunt Ruth's in Sharonville is no longer around. Not only do I go by where the store was twice a week, I know a few of the workers and it's been closed for a little while now. 

oh and Boone Fabrics has moved from the Kings Auto Mall to further down St Rt. 48 in the Loveland area kind of across from Sonic in the shopping plaza, sorry I don't have a more direct address then that. 

But thanks for the list it's nice to have more options than joanne's and hobby lobby in the area that I didn't know about!

The Fabric Shack in Waynesville is absolutely worth the drive in my opinion. If you're making a trip to Valley Quilts in Trenton or going to The Stitching Post in Dayton then you aren't really that far from Waynesville anyways.

FYI ~ I live about a mile from the Creative Cottage in Madeira and  it is no longer in business.  The location has been turned into a toy store.

FYI, St Theresa Textile Trove relocated from Main Street in OTR to Hamilton Avenue in College Hill a few years ago. It is across from Goody's, on the same block as LaRosas.

I just discovered this shop recently and recommend a visit!  The shop is not easily found by googling; I just happened to run across a link from another website.  I am trying to tell other crafters, because it is quite a unique shop and I want to be sure Cinicnnatians know there are some independent fabric sources.  I had not found any local and had been ordering from etsy and other sites. 

The shop has a nice selections of oilcloth, Japanese cottons, batiks, African tiedye and a huge selection of beads.  There is also a selection of Amy Butler, Tina Givens, Joel Dewberry and some other designers.  There are baskets full of fat quarters, a nice way to try new fabrics and patterns.  The website has a nice catalog of fabric selections.  The shop also offers some sewing and beading classes, although I have not tried them yet.
