I made this for my Aunt last week. She has bad shoulders from lifting heavy trays as a fine dining waitress all her life. The doctor has said her shoulders and elbows have had it. They ache all the time so she was walking around with an old cut up sock over her elbows. So.........being an inovative knitter, I came up with these.

I used 80% bamboo 20% wool yarn I got from Ebay and size 6 12" circs.
I co 62 sts and just started a sock top for 4" then 3" of sts for comfort at the joint and elbow, then 4 more inches of sock top. And wala!

Let me know what you think.

So pretty and thoughtful!  Much more fashionable than a cut up sock.  Cheesy

God crafters are thoughtful.  That is really cool, and will no doubt be mistaken for a new trend.

If it had grown up, it would have made a dreadfully ugly child; but it makes rather a handsome pig, I think.

Soooo much better than an old sock! Pretty and practical, too.

Very nice - I bet your aunt will just love those!

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.
