(this sprung up fast since i posted!)
i was having trouble finding the actual sign for "student"
I might sound stupid but all I know it as is the age/sex/location you use on chat boards Cheesy

lol. i totally have never realized that!
so maybe it would be good to put student on it Cheesy

That's a really nice tee shirt.  I really like the bleach effect and it is pretty subtle. :-)

The sign for student is LEARN-PERSON.  If you can't find any signs I can try and do pics of the sign.  (I graduated from Gallaudet)

awesome shirt! I've used bleach on paper for a similar effect, but I never thought about using it on clothing...I'll have to go try it!

I'm an interpreter for the deaf also! I love the shirt, I made one for a deaf friend for her baby that has Angel fingerspelled on the front.  Really neat idea for craft stuff. I love the gallaudette font!

i used this stencil i made
(took if off an online picture of the alphabet)

cut out the white parts with an exacto knife.
(inside the black outline)
filled the holes with the bleach pen
pulled off the stencil
and outlined the letters

thanks!
i've been concidering taking a picture of myself.
but dont want to try and make it a stencil.
i have thought about scanning in my asl level one book
(published by a bunch of deaf professors)
and doing it that way.
and i hope you dont mind my asking, but are you yourself deaf?
or did you go to gallaudet because you wanted to interpret?

My daughter really wants to go to Gallaudet, but it seems to be REALLY hard for foreigners to get in. Well, she'll have to finish highschool first I suppose. If anyone has any info please pm me. Smiley

My boyfriends son is deaf and I have had an idea to put the sign for "(video)game" on a shirt for him....He is ALL about video games...it's the first thing he says/signs when he wakes up.  Cheesy

Cool shirt and kudos for the clever way of having something to talk about when you meet Deaf people.   Grin
