I want to be the tooth fairy for my friends Halloween party. I have a pink tutu that would work well, but I have no idea what else to make for it. Any ideas?

I think you need a satin pouch to wear on your wrist, or dangling from your waist, that has a really big molar embroidered on it, or maybe just cut out of felt and glued to the pouch.  That way you work a symbol of what you are into the whole thing and of course, tooth fairies put in a lot of miles in on one night and need somewhere to temporarily store their their considerable collection!

Oh, and maybe you could cut two-1 dimensional molars from white felt and glue them together with the tip of a painted dowel sandwiched between them and then add some ribbon streamers for a magic wand.    Maybe, white fun foam would work better?

A tooth brush tiara would be neat, as well!

Let us know what you come up with, it sounds like a lot of fun!

My dd was a tooth fairy last year.  My mom had bought her a woodland fairy costume (which completely distressed my dd), so I cut felt teeth shapes out and stitched them over top of the flowers on the fairy dress.  My husband carved a molar out of a styrofoam ball, and I stuck it on the wand that came with the costume.  It turned out really neat, and everyone knew exactly what she was!  I wish i could find a pic of the costume, but dh just switched our computer, and Hallowe'en 2006 is one of the missing files right now Roll Eyes
