Pattern: No pattern, my own. I just winged it. Lucky it turned out Smiley I call it a pink heart vest because those little white stitches look like hearts (haha genius aren't I?)

Yarn: Bendigo Woollen Mills Aran 10 ply in colour Woodrose. The yarn is quite a sturdy yarn, made of crepe construction, and very similar to the colonial / classic yarns they produce. It's not as soft as I would like it, but is definitely a yarn to use if you're looking for something that will last you awhile. Sadly, my corporate days are over for the time being, so this vest (and all my work clothes are now being retired).

Needles: Straights, 5.0mm. In hindsight I probably should've just knit this in the round. Silly billy. And a smaller needle for the ribbing - Unfortunately I can't remember what it was, but it was definitely circular.

That is awesome. Funny how simple little details like the white stitches can really make an item. Love it!

I've been meaning to make a sweater vest for a while now. I think you've inspired to me to finally get started on it.

Love it! You should wear it. Just because you left the cold corporate world doesn't mean you won't leave the house and need something to stave off the chill of the cold actual world Wink

Awww, it's so cute. Smiley I'd wear even if I didn't have to dress all business like. It looks really well done and especially if you didn't use a pattern.

Ooh i forgot to mention that I"m leaving the 'cold' corporate world and going onto the rather HOT minesite world. Maybe i'll just have to blast my house with airconditioning to wear it Wink

That really came out great. Do you think you'd be willing to post the pattern, maybe?  Smiley

I might do ! =D I'll try and figure one out.. but this will be the first time i've written one, and in all likelihood it would only be for the size I knitted (bust : 32).
