movie Swap?

I'm down. I have a 200+ dvd collections though so choosing my top 5 might take some time.

I have a HUGE collection too!  well we have 2 shelving units that hold 700 each and them the new pile on the florr because they wont fit.  Thats just movies DONT EVEN get me started on tv box sets.

I would be down for this one.

it isnt that hard.  You just have to narrow it down to a genre.

Our previewed store is next to Target.  So kids go to Target and shoplift stuff and go and sell it to the store. (or so I hear) and then we buy them brand new at a fraction of cost.  OR go to blockbuster and buy 5 for 20.

They take them back if they are scratched.

We did that once... we picked 3 movies and had so much trouble picking a fourth (effectively free) movie... the choices were REALLY bad....

i'd be interested in doing this but am having trouble coming up with ideas as to what exactly you could make based on a movie besides a tshirt or other things like that. anyone else brainstorm about ideas yet? maybe you could help me out a little. and did anyone else ever step in to organize or is everyone still waiting?

I don't believe we have an organizer yet.  As for project ideas, I think it totally depends on the movie.  If someone's favorite movie is "V for Vendetta," you might make something (bag/scarf/hat/sweater/toaster cover) with that logo on it or in the shape of V's mask.  If someone's favorite movie is "You've got mail" you could make a cool mail organizer or a clutch shaped like an envelope (I may do this anyway now...lol).  If a character had a really sweet jewelry or bag, that's game too.  I'm sure we'd all be able to help with ideas when the time comes anyway!

I understand.. I have done that before.  I have passed on a swap because I couldnt thing of anything to make for it.. then I see the gallery and think "duh" to myself.  sometimes I over think things.
