I found these in an old desk from my grandparents house...apparently they were made by my grandfather sometime before he died in the late 50's....Does anyone have any idea how these are made and if so, are the plain one blanks that need to be finished?  I'd really like to learn how to do this and keep them, since I never knew my grandfather (he died when my mum was three).  Thank you, thank you, thank you to anyone who can shed more light on this.

Where did you come from?
My mom, and the authorities, are still trying to figure that out...

These look very similar to resin pendants.

I don't know much about acrylic though, but I do know some about resin Smiley  Let me know if you are interested in learning more.

Is the rose painted on the back of the pendant? It looks to me like the shapes have been carved or maybe sanded to shape.
